It’s not really considered a Suburb, but Decatur comes out on top!
Though most Atlantans would classify the ITP neighborhood of Decatur as ‘Urban’, from the outside looking in, it qualifies as a Suburb. And, according to Niche.com, Decatur’s combination of low crime, schools, cost of living, and amenities, among other factors, makes it the number one suburb in the State of Georgia, and we have to agree!
