A new ‘thinkpiece’ and poll over on Curbed Atlanta raises an interesting question – are ‘big-kid’ creative workspace features too much for what (should be, at least) professional offices? Should ball pits, log cabins, and speakeasies be welcomed in office space as a way to encourage creativity, or are they a distraction that kills productivity? Certainly, the companies that offer these on the job ‘perks’ (think Tech Giants Facebook and LinkedIn) are not suffering for it, but is the concept applicable to smaller companies? What do you think?
