Since the 1996 Olympics, Centennial Olympic Park has been the epicenter of Downtown Atlanta. Surrounded by tourist hotspots like CNN, World of Coke, and The Georgia Aquarium, hotels and dining, the area is a popular Atlanta destination, but it’s time for an upgrade. Expansions and renovations have been in talks for a while now, but with a gift totalling $10 million from the Woodruff Foundation, it looks like those updates are on the way.
