
Atlanta transit expansion could be in peril thanks to federal cuts
A recently released draft of the federal budget for next year shows major limitations for future transit development. New expansion projects not already in the works will not receive funding and cuts for the U.S. Department of Transportation total $2.4 billion. Changes can still be made as congress has yet to approve the budget but some are still wary of the proposed reduction in funding.
