Is Downtown Destined for a Flashy Future?

The next few years are going to be eventful in Atlanta. And, as the city makes huge strides to cement itself as a world-class destination, one effort on behalf of downtown Atlanta may lead to Peachtree Street looking suspiciously like one of America’s other major urban landmarks, New York City’s Times Square. A new ordinance proposes to encourage the city to loosen its signage restriction in Atlanta’s Arts and Entertainment District ahead of the 2019 Super Bowl.
